Between Paradise and the Deep Blue Sea

Between Paradise and the Deep Blue Sea is a commissioned photography series for Marriott’s Le Meridien Ra showing a couple of fishes coming out from the sea and being astonished at the wonderful hotel they are standing in front of. They spend some days there, explore all the corners of the building, enjoy life out of the water and write letters to their fellows living in the depths of the sea.

Out of the series, a book combining some of their photographs and drawings inspired in them emerged. The book mimics a travel journal in which the fishes offer some of the sketches and reflections they make along the journey.
