Spaces of the Memory
This series is a collection of scenes tracing emptiness and memory. It tries to show them through some of their many nuances, sometimes highly contrasted. There are events that don’t finish, as if they were dishes left half-eaten on the table. Time stands still; it leaves an enigma, a question that remains unresolved. There are also moments of fulfilment, it seems—a sort of calm touching the void in a comforting manner, a response. Memory works like this many times: it follows an endless dialectic of absences and presences that builds our identity… or not.
