This is a photographic project that explores the intimate and transformative relationship between two people through the act of looking at each other in front of the camera.

Valérie, my gallerist and friend, faces the camera in a process of self-discovery and emotional strength. This visual encounter becomes a space of trust where the “you” — the presence of the other — transforms into support and companionship to navigate complex moments.

The intention was not to document illness, but to delve into her most intimate and emotional world in an intuitive way, without any prior plan. Through play, staging, and complicity, we embarked together on this initiatory journey without method or map.

The series reveals the vulnerability and strength that emerge in this connection, showing a sincere and profound emotional state, without words or explanations.
