Short Stories is about disappearances. It is also about people. Sometimes, people evaporate, like steam dissolving into the air. They go away slowly, without us noticing, until they have completely waned. In other cases, we are fully aware of the departure. There are many ways in which a disappearance can take place. Some are rather obscure, others not so. But there is one that is particularly evocative when shooting with a camera: using the double exposure technique. This is what I did with this photographic series.
It was shot using an analog medium-format Hasselblad.
